Coaching candidate - Pat Kelsey

Kelsey WAS at WFU and recruited like crazy. It he hadn't been at WFU, I wouldn't think he merits consideration. I compared him to Odom in that regard. Odom was instrumental in the signing of Helms, Rogers, Johnstone and Morgan. That was one of the best classes in school history. Then Odom had a mediocre 3 years at ECU before Terry Holland hired him at UVA. Do you think Odom would have been hired if he had not recruited well and made a great impression on Hooks and others while he was on Tacy's staff?

Kelsey is a good person, is sharp in appearance and intellect, is high energy and recruited JJ, Travis, Teague and others. He can close the deal with big time recruits . He deserves consideration .

...No longer the sort of recruits that Wellman wants; therefore Kelsey is not the coach he wants. #culture
