Or maybe you shouldn't let the small things bother you and get over yourself. IDK could go either way there.

The devolution of my fellow countrymen into herds of homogenized self-involved comfort-seeking blobs of tasteless, thoughtless flesh heaps is no small thing. I want better for them.

Somehow this image I saw earlier today came to mind...

I think that’s a little dramatic response to people wearing shorts.

Masks block food from being shoveled into their grotesque mouths, I can understand the outrage here.

I'm always on your side, bro, but it seems to me like you want them to conform to your personal ideas of taste and style. But then again I'm hella fit and get regular pedicures so I'm a delight to view in my airport attire.

According to the sage wisdom of Charles Barkley, I'm in great shape, too. He says, "Round is a shape."

He ain't called Sir Charles for nothin'.

Such a bitter, angry little character! At least he buries himself entirely in the Tunnels where his intellectual superiority over everyone can truly shine.

Huh??? I left my lib decoder ring at home.

And who gives a shit whether the WaPo actually did the research or not... they printed it and posted electronically.

You gave the "MSM" a bunch of shit for not thoroughly reporting on some premature and crappy assessments that lock-downs didn't work and now you are giving them a bunch of shit for prematurely reporting that COVID wasn't a bigger deal than the Flu, yet. I am beginning to think you are not actually interested in good journalism or even sound public policy based on best available information but instead are interested in nonsense gotcha bullshit and owning libs, which is getting increasingly difficult in a Trump presidency.

As long as your here and speaking about past erroneous publications... any updates to the analysis on whether the lock downs worked? How are things going in Florida the state that made the biggest show of reopening its economy at the beginning of May?

Florida has 160 deaths related to COVID-19 per million of population.

NY has over TEN TIMES that number at 1,619 deaths per million. NJ has over 1,700 deaths per million.

As the US average is 389 COVID deaths per million, things appear to be going better than average down here in FL.

Even with the increased % of positive tests in FL over the past few weeks, there have been no spikes in hospital admissions or deaths likely due to the median age of those with positive tests continuing to drop.

But you don't hear about this in the MSM (or from the Tunnels scholars) as it doesn't fit the fear porn narrative.

You can't be this stupid, can you?

You don't die ten minutes after getting the disease.

We know by now that most people underestimated COVID-19 because they assumed Trump would follow the pandemic response plans that were successful under the last two administrations.

Can you imagine if this was Ebola instead of COVID and 150,000 people just up and died within 72 hours of contracting the disease and were spewing blood out of their eyeballs ?

True and it will be interesting to see the death totals in two weeks. My guess is that it will still be dramatically less than the New England states because of the demographics of the people infected. How bad it gets will be very interesting.

On a positive note, California, Arizona, Florida, and Texas have all seen a sizable drop in cases over the last 3-4 days or so. That's good i guess.

Are you a tunnels scholar?

Weekend numbers tend to be fewer than Tuesday-Friday. We will see how things shake out in an hour or so.
