The resort was great. I think we preferred Sandals (smaller) to this huge place but the beaches were awesome. We hung out at the pool one day and the beach the rest of the time.

When wifey and I went to DR, we went to the pool every morning (this place's pool was LEGIT, apparently the biggest in all of DR) and sat under the umbrella at the ocean every afternoon. It was so damn relaxing. Especially when you'd get the occasional hot, nekkid European chick sunbathing. #winning

Did both of you manage to steer clear of resort tummy issues? That can hamper sexytimes. Especially at our resort where the bathroom was cut right off of the main room with just a glass stall door blocking your spouse from your stifling stench. Architectural FAIL.

Oh jesus I can't imagine only having the glass door.

The place we were staying had a nice thick door and a bathroom fan for more noise cover, thank god.

I have no idea why that reminds me of it, but we had an unofficial rule in our senior week (high school) house that the bathroom door could never be shut. No idea why, it was like some stupid frat boy shit.

We had the ole door within the door extra partition action. There was a landline phone right next to the toilet so I could conduct my business will doing my business.

I think I have a pretty great trip planned for august. 6am flight Thursday morning direct to dca and heading down to Quantico. Then on Friday after graduation head to the lake. Several days there, then cville and wine tasting, followed by the train back to DC on Thursday morning. Do the touristy stuff Thurs, Fri, sat and get an early flight back on Sunday to rest up for the work week. Flights are $200 roundtrip.

My friends roommate's toilet is like 8-12" away from the back wall and you can't close the door if you sit normally because your knees end up in the doorway. We asked her one day if she just leaves the door open or if she sits sideways and she sits either at a diagonal or a full 90 degrees from the normal direction.

Heading to Columbia today. What time does it usually get hot there? About 6:30 AM?

Our toilet in STL had a radiator about 6-8" from the bowl, you pretty much had to sit diagonal, weirdest thing (and no one ever thinks to try sitting on the toilet when they are looking at apartments)

Nice. Love that beer. What did you ask think of the resort?

It was nice! This one had an adults only section which is where we stayed and was more our speed. The other part had a casino, discoteca, gift shops, practically a mall and was really huge. Definitely not stuff we were interested in so I was happy to have the smaller section.

This place had some big pools too which were sweeet. We went with the beach most of the time though because the breeze was better. Plus there were actually more shade spots because of all of the palm trees.

Not too many stomach issues. The resort gave out bottled water like it was their job and we have fairly resilient stomachs. The toilet/shower was in a room with a door and then the whole bathroom was separated from the beds with another door so it was a good set up anyway. Although I do love hotel rooms where you can watch the TV from the shower with your shower beer.
