I pulled a palma and only thought about my own self and tastes. Here, cabs are better. Most places that's not true. So be it.

Also forgot about District as a bad poster. He's not so bad though.

Anyway I want to quit for good so badly. It'd take a full IP ban bc I lack the discipline. I can't quit you losers. Just someone ban me on my phone and at home and work. There's no allure anymore.
 
but I bet cabs aren't even better there and you're just being #contrarian

Townie is definitely way incorrect on this account. I can't count the number of times the freaking cabs just never even showed up or were late or were different sizes than requested. I've used uber (and lyft) now in four or five major cities and a couple of countries and never once had a bad experience (though certainly some weird ones).
 
townie's clearly off his #take game given the layoff. He lost track of how important it was to be correct in this medium.

I guess I don't understand your struggles with this board. Tags? E-beefs with people you'd probably get along with IRL? Insensitive people? That's why you want to quit? Is this community not like every other community you are or would be a part of (unless social/new media succeeds in turning all of our communities into echo chambers)?

The stakes really aren't that high and it's a lot better around here with folks like you, RJ, and bsf4l (#neverforget) than without y'all.

Just my two cents.

I like how the greatest struggle in Townie's life is his troubles with a wake forest sports message board. Primarily because he thinks he's better'n everyone here due to some arbitrary calculation (If I had to guess, he thinks he's smarter than everyone here). You do got me on standardized tests for higher education!

Dog sitting is always a good reminder of how I really don't want a dog, even when I occasionally talk myself into thinking its a good idea.

And I'll definitely never own two dogs, with one of them being a giant ass German Shepard. They're sweet dogs, and they love to be around me, but I have to be borderline black out drunk to sleep in the same room with them without waking up every 15 mins. And if I leave them out in the hall they coming banging on my door at 4 am. So this is a lose, lose.

Luckily I just fed them and locked them in the backyard, so now I can finally get a few hours of rest.
