Charlottes AAA team has a full nhl size outdoor ice rink on their field this winter. Took the kids there for some skating today and shockingly no one around here can skate for shit. Would have thought some other members of the mighty ducks generation like me would have some chops but nope.
 
I learned everything I know about ice skating from roller blade hockey which to my continuing surprise translates really well.

I haven’t been ice skating since Wake but I enjoyed it.

I played a ton of roller hockey in my neighborhood growing up.
