Diamond Deacs 2019 (Offseason) | 5 Deacs Drafted

Poteet has struck out a staggering 38% of the time this season. If I’m not mistaken he was a top 100 prospect this season.
 
Pinch hit for a freshman that has 10 homers but let Poteet and Mueller decide the outcome of the game? Has Mueller hit a ball farther than a 150 feet all year?
 
Game has been there for the taking all night and of course we keep throwing up on ourselves.

Why is Mueller hitting leadoff in a crucial game. Why is Tinsman 8th batting .278 with 10 homers.

And surely we have a better option on the bench that a sub .200 Poteet! That is horrible not to mention the incredibly high strike out % so you can't advance runners when critical?

Definitely seems time to move on from Walters. He has had his chance and seems stuck in mediocrity although sounds like a great guy. Granted no where near DM pit of BB, but still if you truly expect excellence???

DM is the one thing saving him. Makes Walter look like a competent coach and Wake has to clean up the basketball mess first.
 
I would not be surprised to see Witt get a start in the ACC Tourney. Probably our second or third best option right now.
 
Deacs at least looking good to salvage game 3, but will presumably have a lot of work to do in the ACCT.
 
14-5 final. Could have used 2 more run the 1st two days. AT least a salvage.
 
Deacs will be in a 3 team group with 2 of:

UNC
NC State
FSU
Miami

Will probably need to sweep those two games at a minimum
 
Nice to at least avoid Louisville. Lots of mediocre teams in the league.
 
#10 seed with NCSU/FSU

winner of the pool would play the winner of Georgia Tech’s pool
 
FSU on Tuesday then NC St on Thursday.

Guessing Peluse with all hands on deck (inc. Shuster our of the pen) with Cusick going on Thursday.
 
It's amazing we went 14-16 when the main pitchers we were relying on all had ERAs in the 5 to 7 range.
 
Bobby Seymour takes home ACC Player of the Year. Not sure he deserved it but he did have huge RBI #s.

Lanzilli also first team. Frick with no honors, which seems crazy.
