That is beautiful in the scope of bullshitting required to make that argument.
For sure.
Good grief.

GOP defense logic: If Trump shot someone on 5th Avenue he would not be charged with murder bc in his mind he was doing it for the best interest of the country
"it is not illegal if the President does it"
You’re dumber than I thought.
I’ve been clear from before this thread started that I supported Trump’s impeachment and removal. I think the democrats have made some pretty egregious tactical errors, but those mistakes haven’t changed my ultimate opinion.
When I identified as a conservative many years ago, before the GOP went crazy, I could never conceive that "small government" conservatives would ever agree with the notion that the Executive can do whatever the hell it wants as long as the President thinks it will get him re-elected. It is hard for me to believe that anyone with even a passing acquaintance with the ideals of the Founders would respond to such a notion with anything short of outright incredulity and condemnation, much less the party that claims to be in favor of a limited government and individual freedom. And yet here we are.
Not to speak for all 5 (or is it 6?) "small government" conservatives who dared to post on The Tunnels since its inception, however, I know of at least one who does not agree with the notion the president can do whatever the hell he wants as long as he thinks it will get him re-elected.
And yet it's possible to hold this opinion and still laugh at all of the left-wing propaganda (and those who bought it hook, line and sinker) which ramped up shortly after election day 2016 to reverse the results of the election.
For the most part, the Trump attorneys are a joke, but Patrick Philbin is legit and doing pretty well.
Well, that in and of itself was something ginned up by the right wing media. I never talked to a single person that thought the results should be overturned. Rework the electoral system? Sure. Arrest him? Some. Trump will inevitably get impeached? Most definitely. But reverse the results of the election and replace Donald J Trump with Hillary Clinton? Nope.
I'm sure there was a negligible amount out there, but I never came across one. Both sides should strive to not extrapolate the worst characteristics of small portions of the opposing party. I see it all the time on Facebook, but these boards can be better!
That’ll change when RJ sends his guy
Yeah “reverse the results” is a rube talking point dumb dumb
It also seems like they forget that if Trump was impeached Pence would become President and they could just elect him twice and get 8+ years of Pence.
Unless they’re worried Pence could get impeached too.
