carceral logics don't actually take the time to distinguish between good/bad actorsIt's just... weird. I get that there's a couple bad actors that are being violent and aggressive to others or outright antisemitic and they should be dealt with accordingly, but some of the police responses I've seen look flat out disturbing.
lol I only saw one video from Austin but there weren’t any protestors, just ranks of police
don't yell repeatedly at cops and your chances of getting thrown to the ground and arrested go way down
I wouldn't be surprised if we have student protestors being shot before all this over, especially in places like Texas where the governor can pretty much do whatever the hell he wants with no real repercussions. Shades of Kent State.
Or perhaps cops just shouldn’t throw people to the ground. Feel like that’s a good solutiondon't yell repeatedly at cops and your chances of getting thrown to the ground and arrested go way down
I didn’t see her touch the cop. But you definitely can’t touch a cop because that’s how it’s gonna end up 100 percent of the time. Well, probably not 100 because there’s always the chance you get tazed or shot.It looked like she reached out and touched one of the officers while shouting “what are you doing?”
she's gonna get paid, thoughI didn’t see her touch the cop. But you definitely can’t touch a cop because that’s how it’s gonna end up 100 percent of the time. Well, probably not 100 because there’s always the chance you get tazed or shot.
