Hilton Head Tips?

SeaPines is nice, albeit touristy. We had a great, newly remodeled 4 BR condo/townhouse last May for shockingly cheap. In between 18 fairway and Harbour Town, and solidly walkable/bikeable. The new Quarterdeck restaurant was really nice, again albeit touristy. Dinner at the Harbour Town clubhouse one night was totally dead and way too pricey - would not recommend. The also recently renovated Beach Club in SeaPines is solid too (nicer restaurant upstairs or bar-type food downstairs). Parking is annoying though when using it for beach access. Oh and you still have to go to The Salty Dog, just because.

My folks want to take us and little-TW back down there in the fall, but we're trying to steer to Kiawah.
