Thoughts on how to deal with missed free throws in this setup? Made free throw, no problem because it is dead ball. Live ball rebound and team with designated shooter in does????

It would have to be like a hockey line switch. Designated FT shooter runs to the scorers table to tag in the regular player. Hilarity ensues

Or you could make the designated ft shooter play until the next dead ball - that would be the possible penalty for choosing to use the designated FT shooter - you risk having that guy play for a bit if he misses the FT... Or the team could use a timeout to get him out, if they want.
