Pentagon Reportedly Hushed Up Chemical Weapons Finds In Iraq

The gist of that article is the W's people, who were getting raked over coals daily about not finding WMDs, wanted to keep it secret that they found WMDs. How does that make sense?

The only possible logic is that these finds proved that there was no ongoing WMD program as was lied about during the ramp up of the Iraq War. As the article says none were made after 1990.
