Is Moore transferring?

I actually don't think he was playing that bad. Look how bad our D has been without him in the line up the last two games. He seems to score around the rim, and change shots near the basket. Yeh he fouls, but he dirupts the turnstyle to the basket that our defense allows. He is no worse than many of the other guys tonight. Such as Collins, and Wilkeben.

Right, he's no worse than our other post defenders, who all suck. Except the way he's playing he fouls and sucks. I'm guessing that Manning and he may have had some words to get 0 minutes in the last two games.

Moore looked much better last year. He was showing nice touch and was much more effective rebounding.

Agreed, in the Devin suspension games, he and Collins split them and looked like both had great upside. It's not like he lost minutes this year, he just seemed to physically regress in ways that a guy that plays in every game shouldn't regress.

I honestly don't blame Moore for moping (or appearing to and then having strangers misperceive what he was doing). He was a part of a team that (sort of?) brought Wake forest back to the promised land - then all his minutes disappeared right when it mattered. The majority of that is on him but in the moment it's hard to come to grips with all of that.

That doesn't mean he's transferring. I'm so sick of transfers.

And I agree with RJ - STFU with this shit. We can discuss a lot of things but why start a thread with this title.

If he was moping, which I don't know if he was, then that is crap. It's part of being a good teammate.

It was a disappointing loss. It seems senseless to me to crap on a player that never left the bench. Given the ease with which Kansas State was going to the hoop I doubt whether Doral would have aggravated the matter.

I like Moore, and I thought it was bizzarre he did not get any minutes after being part of the team the last two years.

Threads like this, knowing the team reads the board, are useless and intentionally insulting to the player(s).

Yeah, nobody ever criticizes players on this board. Never happens. This thread raises a legit question, and doesn't criticize Moore.

Well, in the brief clip I saw of him, he was clapping his hands ... cheering his team on. I watched the entire game, and can't recall him moping.

If Collins ends up declaring and staying in the draft, Moor would be absolutely crazy to transfer. He would get as much playing time as he wants, if he can learn to play defense without fouling. The only thing holding Doral back right now is his own tendency to foul when he blocks shots. That is something that a coach should be able to fix for him. In Hoosiers, Norman dale would have come up with some sort of harness that he would wear tp avoid bringing his arms down when he tries to block a shot.

Unless Big Sam beats him out for the starting 5 spot. Or another big decides to come...

I think Moore is a decent player, I couldn't ever figure out why Danny never played them together much. I think having them in together would have help on defense. could have played a killer 3-2 zone.

Seriously? He was usually completely gassed after one trip up and down the court. He had some moments last year, but he's had them this year too. Expectations are higher.

IMO Sam passed him on the depth chart...that's why he hasn't seen much time. But Sam looked completely lost out there so Manning should have subbed Moore in at some point, especially since we got killed in the paint and needed a couple of stops. Use up those fouls. That's a part of Manning's game strategy that is lacking. I think he's still worried about team building...rewarding those who practice hard.

Didn't notice any moping...just some disappointment.

In a 5 game stretch late last year against Pitt, NCSU, BC and ND & VT, playing 70 total minutes he had 48 points, 32 rebounds and 11 blocks.

Yes, he looked much better last year.

You can't include the BC game last year. That team was literally a high school roster. He had a few more positive flashes last year, but in aggregate, it's been pretty much disappointment throughout his time here.
