In this thread we discuss acting careers that died as suddenly as Josh Hartnetts without the person actually dying. I bring this up because the movie where he doesn't have sex is on at the bar.

Off the top of my head I can only think of Steven Segal.
 
Mark Hamill had an excellent voice acting career.
 
Hamill has also been on Broadway for the last 2 decades
 
Cuba Gooding Jr won a fucking Oscar. Think about that.
 
Josh Hartnett is a good call.

In his 3 movies in pre/post production, his costars are Neve Campbell, Billy Zane and Hal Holbrook.

Freddie Prinze Jr. Dude has nothing in any sort of production and his last credit was a 1 episode shot on Psych and then 24.
 
Wes Bentley disappeared for awhile (drugs) but he is slowly making his way back.

Not sure it counts when the average person has to google the person and has only seen one movie they've been in.

That movie won an Oscar for Best Picture which I think makes him notable, but yeah, I doubt anyone would know him by name. But I had to google Josh Hartnett to remember who he was.
 
Problem with a thread like this is that a lot of these people are working, just in shit nobody's watching. IMDB has Cuba Gooding, Jr in 6 projects in '09 and 3 in '11 and I have heard of none of them.

ROFLS ouch to Mr Hartnett. How can you forget Here on Earth? Easily my favorite craptastic movie of my youth.
 
Chris Makepeace- he was in Meatballs and My Bodyguard. I thought he was destined to be a big star.
Tom Hulce- Amadeus and then what? He's had some acting gigs but nothing even close to being on that level.
For a while there Chevy Chase though he seems to have made a bit of a comeback.

Yeah, he does a ton of direct to video. Gets paid a lot for them though.
