KP Report on the Tennessee Vols -- Saturday Noon -- ESPN 2 (same time as our Bowl)

Yep, he didn't show up.

Chaundee has played like a man today.

Announcers have roasted Hoard pretty good for his lackadaisical style of play (and rightfully so).

I can't understand how you can be anything but extremely fired up to play a great team with a great front line when you are hoping to be drafted

Hoard likes Danny so much that he wants to quiet all the NBA talk.

Tennessee is really good. We look a lot better and we're still going to lose by 30.

Random thoughts:

Hoard does a lot of things well, but nothing elite. Raw. Played terrible today.

Brown is getting better. Playing aggressively. Love to see it. Big fan of his game.

We have zero underneath on either side of the ball. Not sure how that improves this year or next. Need bigs.

Why so little Mucius? Streaky, but he may as well get more minutes.

For those that hate the bigs hedging out on the perimeter, UT does a ton of it. Of course, they do a lot of things on defense.

Youth is no excuse 5 years in, but we need guys that can develop over 3-4 years. UT is proof of the benefits of that (and coaching).

Grant Williams is an absolute beast. So impressed with his game.

Get ready for the nightmare scenario... This was more about Tennessee being awesome than anything else, but overall we've gotten a lot better in just a few weeks (The Nestor effect?), and if Hoard finds his game we'll have a chance to win more games than we thought. ACC basement is extremely weak this year, watch us squeak out a CBI invite and re-up Manning for 40 years.

‘85 Deacs playing well vs. #2 Duke on ESPN Classic!

What was Wake doing on the U? Can’t believe we were on all but the official station for Wake athletics.

Everyone agrees the guys who set the lines do so to get action on both sides without regard to how the game will play out.

They set the line at 19 with a total of 147 so that’s 83-64.

Everyone agrees it will be more like 84-56.

I’d say they set the line about right...unbelievable
