They’re both true freshmen who played in high school last year. There should be a gap between them and guys like Whitt, Cam, and hopefully Marsh. Hopefully we get to the point where those types of players aren’t forced into action too soon.
 
Oh my, we are so much better than we were last year. It would be nice if we had more than 200 fans show up.

Those guys would be averaging 20 minutes a game on a [Redacted] or Manning team.

Such is the row to hoe as a multi-sport powerhouse. Once the ACCFBCG has been won, the fans will migrate over to Bball support.
 
We are 3-0. solid core of good unselfish players who take pride in defense. love Williams and Laravia, great pick ups by our staff
 
Cam is really good for a freshman. Very mature and does not make freshman mistakes. All ACC material by junior year.
 
Alondes and Hildreth both just have a feel for the game- They just know how to score, how to pass, how to rebound. Really excited to see what they can do .
 
So best 5 of Williamson/Williams/Hildreth/Laravia/Sy?
 
Think if we had Monsanto and Marsh. Very deep and shows what a great coach can do in a year

Exactly. By necessity. And we would expect more from them. The transfer portal allows us to get instant experience so we don’t have to play freshmen who aren’t quite ready.
 
So nice to look at the box score and see 20 assists on 35 made baskets and only 10 turnovers. We are really going to like this team this year. We have a really good coach. Hang on.
 
one nit pick about Laravia- thought he would be a better rebounder. He has 10 in 3 games. Im guessing that will improve as year goes on, but if he is going to play big minutes at PF then he needs to get more rebounds. On the other hand, Whitt, Williams, and Hildreth all seem to be above average rebounders for their size.
 
Love being wrong about the backdoor cover - very few defensive lapses tonight.

Solid effort, Charleston Southern plays like 3 more ACC teams so it’ll be interesting to see if they get curb-stomped by everyone else as well.

Lots of love for Miles and Evan.

Miles' parents flew in for the exhibition and surprised him, was a really cool moment to watch. Wrote a couple of features on Anthony Bilas with the Journal, will hopefully be able to make something happen with Miles this season.
