MBB Game 6: Charleston Southern @ WF; 1pm Friday - ACCN+

alarm bells have to be sounding about the future of our program. This season is a corpse. Reid and Monsanto would not be able to significantly cover our innumerable deficiencies. If we end up losing this, how can one possibly believe in our current staff? This is worse than Stetson, Houston Baptist and god knows how many others we have endured.
 
The team as it is comprised right now is not very good. The Alabama scrimmage was Fool’s Gold.

Weren't you pretty optimistic at the beginning of the sesaon?
 
Cam has improved his shooting and O game, but he still cannot make the assist when he's double and triple teamed on the inside. Forcing the shot in these situations late, as he did in Ga game, will = a L in ACC play.

Bad coaching rearing its head again. This is not a good team. Some talent but very poorly coached.
 
This would be on par with Stetson loss in Bzzz first season early on. Many folks were in denial so early in Bzzzs tenure but no Wake team had lost to a 250+ rpi team and knew then Bzzz not the man. Unfortunately took Ron another 4 years. Sorry but if you are in year 4 and thinking you are ready to make a jump to rebuild but lose to Charleston southern there is clearly poor fundamentals and whole lot of issues and time to move on. Yuck.
 
We won the Alabama scrimmage because we played Sallis and Hildreth literally the entire game. Alabama subbed liberally
 
Get Reid and Monsanto then cut this bench way down. MMM, Marsh and Fredreichson get spot minutes. Keller and Canka get cut down to 0.
 
Charleston Southern is an objectively bad team. We’ll win this game, but it should be a 30+ point win with subs playing most of the 2nd half. Not a game where our starters pull away at the end.
