MBB Game 9: Clemson Tigers at Littlejohn - Friday 7 pm

Obviously nothing happens in isolation, the tired excuse doesn't expla in a 27 point swing, thee aren't even 30 year old men in the NBA needing rest on back to backs.

  • 1st half Clemson sluggish from a 2OT win
  • Wake riding some momentum from Wisc win
  • Going into half Wake players thinking Wisc/Clem on the road no big deal
  • Brownell reads the riot act to his team at the half (how can you be losing to Wake, I haven't lost to them here in 11 years, what are you doing)
  • Clemson comes out more motivated
  • Wake comes our flat
  • Cam, non-dunk, a momentum play
  • Forbes watches us get out scored by 10, waits for the under 16 to
  • Wake starts forcing more shots, plus Clemson being more aggressive and confident (having easily erased the lead)
  • Legs start to feel tired once you are down double digits

This sounds about right to me, though the Cam destruction was before halftime. It carried over. Everyone probably in stunned silence at the break, just wondering if he'd ever be right again, part out of sympathy, part out of shame and horror. tbd.

Obviously nothing happens in isolation

right, you could stop right there

(as Elliot pointed out, Cam's layup sandwich came in the first half)

right now we have one functioning point guard/primary ball handler. He played 40 GREAT minutes at Wisconsin. If we are counting on him playing 40 tough minutes every night, all season long, particularly with travel in between, we're going to have some disappointing nights

Geez. clem's son struggling at home against towson 1st half.

We really suck hard at littlejohn.
