Ooh, I forgot to mention the latest Faith No More. Another great album.

Normally I dissect each of Townie's top albums / top songs on a one-album-per-day basis, working up from #1. This year I hit To Pimp A Butterfly and I still haven't moved on. Courtney has 4 songs I love but Kendrick's album consistency keeps me coming back. Rapsody's part on Complexion is so good.

this dick ain't free, bruh

based on the three tracks that are out so far, there's actually a pretty decent shot the new pusha could have been my A.O.T.Y.

also, thanks to NPR, i found the cast recording of the the musical Hamilton, a hip hop musical about the life of Alexander Hamilton. It sounds like it would be turrible, but it has some of the tightest writing I've heard all year. Def one of my top 5 most enjoyable listening experiences of the year.

THIS. Been listening to it nonstop for 2 1/2 months. And I don't even like musicals.
