When it comes to judging someone's taste in music I believe that this is the best way to do it. Plus I'm bored this morning. You don't have to explain why you attended each show, but like I said I'm bored so I will. I'll start:

June '11 - Dispatch
May '11 - Third Eye Blind
April '11 - Zac Brown Band
Jan '11 - The Avett Brothers
Oct '10 - The Avett Brothers (two nights)

I went to see Dispatch play with amy former college roommate and his wife at Red Bull Arena. It was a drunken pact we made back in college, and we used the concert as an excuse to spend a few days in the NYC. Besides that I saw Third Eye Blind with about 15 high school friends in Raleigh and saw ZBB when they came to the Joel. I saw the Avetts in Asheville for NYE with a bunch of my fraternity brothers from college and also saw them perform two nights in a row in Nashville, I was there for work, during Halloween when they played at the Ryman.

good lord that Chili Cookoff lineup looks awful

It always brings an interesting crowd, I did it more for the chili and beer. Some of my friends were into some of those bands but Finger Eleven was a joke and has been an inside joke with us since, which was extra-bad since Maryland basketball took the court to "Paralyzed" the following year. This year's lineup was bad too (Panic! at the Disco, Papa Roach, Seether) except Weezer headlining but we didn't really pay for a ticket since we participated in the cookoff part and cleaned up in time to catch Weezer's act.

Widespread Panic (two night in Asheville)
Yonder Mountain String Band
Avett Brothers (due to the GF)
Drive By truckers
The Black Keys
