NC State - Wake Forest Game Thread

BUT HE'S EDGY AND CLEVER AND RECRUITS LOVE HIS WITTY TWEETS JUST ASK THEM!!!!!!!

Scheier reminds me a little of Lobo. And not in a good way.

Very disappointed with the last two weeks. Still on the Clawson bandwagon, but he's got some explaining to do.

The Good News: We aren't Miami.

The Bad News: Clemson is yet to come.

After we got down 14-0 and things weren't happening with Wolford at the helm, I thought that was the time to go to Hinton. With this o-line Hinton is our real threat to move the team down the field.

Clawson just interviewed on the radio and he is pissed. Wants to make them crimmage for 3 more hours

The D was the issue early. >300 yards in one quarter is hard to even imagine and painful to watch.

Since halftime of the Syracuse game, we have scored 17 points on Wolford drives. 10 of those were on a 30 yard drive against UNC and -2 yard drive against BC.

Hinton as a true freshman put up 24 against Indiana, 16 against FSU and 17 in 2 1/2 quarters today. And 17 against Army.

It is painfully clear that Wolford just can't be effective with this O-line. He may be the better QB with a line that gives great protection and plenty of time to throw, but that is obviously not the case.

Was that Kinal's worst punt ever as a Deac, low liner that was very returnable? The suckitude was widespread today.

Essentially running the same offense with the same personnel.

Until today, though, we hadn't really seen them both against a common opponent. Hinton also didn't do anything against UNC when he took over in the second half. But it was plain today that Wolford wasn't able to execute the offense while Hinton offered new scoring options. Neither player is flawless, but perhaps Hinton can hone his throwing ability with more PT.
