Covid turning Gen Xers into Boomers so fast
How many years is enough ?
This mask shit is going to be over in a month or so.
Mask wearing is no longer the issue.
Hawaii takes this Covid stuff super seriously. It’s very comforting. Restaurants want proof of vaccination to enter, all stores have “masks required” signs on the door. It’s really nice to go about my business with out worry with only the minor inconvenience of wearing a mask.
I think this is going the other way in light of the vaccines’ inefficacy against omicron. Biden just ordered 400 million N95 masks from the strategic national stockpile to be distributed across the country. I predict a recommendation for N95 mask requirements and booster mandates.
Lol
Vaccination without boosters and cloth face diapers don’t do a damn thing against omicron
Still prevents hospitalization and death at a significant rate compared to unvaccinated.
And when I go to a restaurant, no one is safer because I wear one when I stand up to walk out of the building for ten seconds without a mask than they are when I sit there for an hour and eat without a mask. How can anyone logically deny that ?

Huh.
Unfortunately, virtues can’t signal themselves.
Agreed, but birdbrain said “without worry”
Vaccination doesn't matter at this point. Omicron demonstrated that it's solid against hospitalizations, but not against getting it. People aren't going to stand for more bullshit limitations. Get vaccinated or don't. Doesn't matter to me, and my safety or anybody else's is not contingent upon somebody's vaccination status.
There was always a short fuse for this. I think the only reason it lasted longer than it did is because we're so divided along political lines. Now that pretty much everybody has had it, the tipping point has arrived. People want to move on and resume normalcy. It's endemic. Time to admit it and adjust accordingly.
