Thanks. Probably keep my posts to the NBA thread. No promises. Desire to be an unobsessive poster who get in no beefs (except for the anticipated NBA-sucks posts by boblahblah fan).

I have been lurking. Not posting was liberating though. I was like a retired porn star. I still came, but not cumming publicly was refreshing. See here is where old Jaybone would have mentioned something about cum and his wife, but new guy no. Keeps wife out of this public forum. I've aged like 3 years in the three years since I last posted. So mature now.

So how bout the new brain dead Odom? Do most people think with half a brain he can keep his demons at bay? Will the Kardashians seem like smart people to him?

Man, I'm the same. Since the original Hornets left (lololol, fuck no I didn't seriously adopt the clownshow horcats) I just have had no "real" team. I pull for the Knicks probably the most, just since I have a lot of friends who are die hards and games at MSG are a special event.

Mostly though, I just cheer for the GT guys to do well and whoever entertains me at any given time. This year's teams are probably going to be:

#1 - Magic ... just because Hezonja is MY BOI and I can't wait to watch what ridiculous shit he does during actual, live NBA games.
#2 - Dubs ... Splash Bros are so fun
#3 - Pelicans ... watching AD morph into a league destroying machine is going to be amazing.
#4 - Jazz ... everyone else is going small, they are going giant
#5 - Bucks ... Greak Freak + crazy mix of parts that make no sense, but somehow seem to work a little bit.
 
Lowe has his league pass rankings out this week on grantland. Part 1 yesterday, part 2 tomorrow. Hornets were the least watchable in his rankings, which is probably right.

Wow. 1 year feels like 3 without posting OR I aged even faster than I thought.

Aging blows though man. You were cargo shorts, you wear cargo shorts, you wear cargo shorts, and one morning you wake up and you look stupid in cargo shorts. Because you're just old.

I don't know whether RJ ruined it for all old people or not but cattiness in the old is just vraiment! lame-o. So I won't be that. Because I'm old now. I wasn't a year ago. But now I am. Old.
 
Thabo suing NYPD for $50 million. Can't imagine he gets that much but he should get a good amount. He was found not guilty of obstructing government administration, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest in late September.
 
Bone, what are your playoff predictions? All-Star surprises? Thoughts on coaching changes? Just say everything you've been thinking the whole past year.

How many games do you think YOUR SPURS will lose?

I don't have any grand predictions. I think the Spurs will be very very good, but for me, last year's first round exit was due to losing a Sunday afternoon home game to the Cavs w 25 games left. They were up 12 midway thru the 4th quarter. Then Kyrie Irving scored 25 points in 12 minutes (last 7 plus OT) and the Spurs go from a 3 seed to a 6 seed, or wherever they finish and get the Clips with Game 7 on the road.

Not making excuses so much as seedings are going to be about who gets the fewest injuries and gets on a role with a couple of those crazy games thrown in (like say the Warriors losing at home to the Kings or something). I think the following playoff teams will exceed expectations in the regular season:

* Rockets, Thunder, Hawks, Pacers, Wizards, Heat, Lakers, Kings (see both Kings and Lakers battling for the 8th spot)

I think the following playoff teams will not meet regular season expectations:

* Cavs, Warriors, Clippers (gonna miss Fisher bitch-slapper, Matt Barnes)

I think the East will be better than expected though as I think the 2-6 slots in the East will be very tough outs.

I think the Blazers and Mavs will fall well below expectations. This is the year the bottom drops out for the Mavs.
