Strasburg, Gio, then Scherzer in 1/2/3 - Cubs miss the prospect of facing Scherzer twice
 
I'll take the tradeoff of both Arrieta and Scherzer only being able to start once in the series
 
Have major doubts about Scherzer's health. He is a bulldog; for the Nats to forgo the possibility of Max starting two games in this series means this isn't just a tweaked hammy. If he can't pitch either Friday or Saturday, doubtful he will be 100% by Monday. Even if Scherzer pitches, his effectiveness has to be limited, meaning the Nats are in major trouble. Gio and Tanner Roarke sucked down the stretch.

As a Nats' fan, very worried.
 
The Nats beat the Cubs head-to-head this year 4-3. The starting pitchers for the Nats in the 3 Cubs wins?? Gio Gonzalez, Joe Ross and Edwin Jackson. Oof - not looking forward to Stras and Scherzer.
 
Please tell me Edlose is on their playoff roster
 
Scherzer looking iffy for the Nats. Definitely not starting Friday. May not start until Monday or????
