It’s not hard to tell the difference.

Here is the pattern. Established news sources report news. They keep finding more information over time that helps clarify the story.

Propaganda outlets react to the news story with their own spin on the story like a game of political telephone. They use half truths and omissions to spin a different tale.

It’s really easy to do because even when people see all the facts for themselves, they have different interpretations of those facts. We see it on the Sports board all the time.

When people are given facts, they may choose not to believe those facts. If there is a strong counterforce opposing the facts, it’s even easier for people not to believe the facts because they have something to replace them with.

Truth isn’t reactionary.
