Oh well they looked better in the second half. Helms looked good at center.
Go fuck yourself. You must really be full of yourself. Since when do you think you have the right to speak for anyone other than yourself....or to tell other WF posters...particularly WF graduates...to "go away"?
The point is that the ACC ain't Fordham.
(And, evidently, you do not ascribe to the title at the top of this page: "Discuss Wake Forest Athletics. Freely."
It looks like we've got ourselves another Billy Hildebrand. Anyone who thinks that this coach will ever even sniff the accomplishments that Jim Grobe had here is out of his mind.

Nothing from Claw on the roughing penalty that was picked up.
In after game on field radio interview, he stated he couldn't comment on that play as he would be fined. Said he didn't want to pay a fine. Clearly didn't like it.
I saw it, friend. Nobody on ignore now.
Have a nice day.
(And I still think that Clawson is going to be another Billy Hildebrand. Personally, I don't think he will ever win more than 6 games in one year at WF against FBS opponents....and will win as many as 6 games against FBS opponents only rarely. I've seen this show for many, many years. I guess it will take a while to get through some posters' heads, but eventually they will come to appreciate the unprecedented enormity of what Jim Grobe did when he won 28 games in 3 years and went to three straight bowls games...including the Orange Bowl...and was named National COY in 2006. Your grandchildren won't live to see it happen again.)

There was never any realistic chance that Grobe's amazing 3-year run with 28 wins from 2006 thru 2008 could be sustained....by Grobe or by anyone else. Those three years were a once in a lifetime event. That's what many posters on this board cannot seem to get thru their heads.
You realize Boston College went to a bowl game 12 years in a row. Explain why you feel Wake Forest cannot hope to string together more than 3.
Is it because of the football recruiting hotbed that is Massachuetts?
