Official Wake - Vandy game thread

Yeah. Lobo must have seen something in the tape to suggest the Wildcat would work. No doubt Vandy will adjust and shut it down.

Can somebody please tell this idiot that Okoro has barely played safety in his career and actually was an All-Freshman CB?

doesn't really matter. on goalline safties will be up anyway. just takes a guy from backfield and puts him out wide, which takes a defender out there. basically takes a linebacker from the box, and puts him on qb. even if you think the rb won't throw, you can't leave anyone uncovered. camp is good, but he's not a guy you double on goalline. so they are playing man to man on us.

Don't you mean that the Wildcat adds a blocker, not takes away a defender?

Love watching us throw a blitz and having our corner give 5 yards of cushion BEHIND the first down marker.

He thought by changing his name that opposing OCs wouldn't know it was still him. Of course, being him, he didn't change his last name or number.
 
He jumps Matthews on 1st and 10 when there is likely going to be a hitch and go, and then he hestitates on 3rd and 6 when he needs to jump the WR.
 
Funny that the announcers act like Okoro has never played CB before. Nope guys, he has played it most of his career, and has been that bad the entire time. I can understand why they would think that though.
