Shit got crazy last night in the TX State House

Bump.

Back before filibusters were a bad thing, we were all told of the heroic yarn of Wendy Davis: struggling single trailer park mom-turned self-made Harvard Law grad-turned filibuster idol.

About that....http://dallasmorningviewsblog.dalla...ntment-about-the-true-wendy-davis-story.html/

Well, if you don't count the parts that weren't true, it was a fine story.

In fairness, she has countered with a true observation (this time) in her response (that her presumed Republican opponent): “hasn't walked a mile in my shoes.”

Hard to argue with that:

It took you 4 days?

Ok. Just clarifying. It's not unusual for people to say they did something through their own hard work when it was really due to connections and family resources.

The governor who has presided over the most executions in Texas state history crowing about the sanctity of life? Gotta love that grand old party.

The Planned- Matriarch Margaret Sanger says "hey now!"

"Fostering the good-for-nothing at the expense of the good is an extreme cruelty ... there is not greater curse to posterity than that of bequeathing them an increasing population of imbeciles." She spoke of the burden of caring for "this dead weight of human waste." - Margaret Sanger

Ha. In the interest of abundant clarity, I would add that some people who advocate for the discretionary right to terminate inconvenient innocent life may not have the best character after all. Who knew?
