So we've decided to beat unarmed cancer researchers to death.

WTF does this have to do with politics?
 
Don't worry, some fool here will make it political in no time. Or at least racial.
 
That has to be scary happening so close to the school. Hard to comprehend how someone could kill for a wallet.
 
Why weren't they deterred?
 
Well, if you lock them up and throw away the key until they are at least in their 60s, or 70s, then they will certainly be deterred from now on, and some of those - although unfortunately not all - following the case will also be deterred.

In the last ten days, we've seen a civilian airliner carrying some of the world's leading HIV researchers blown out of the sky, a school full of children knowingly shelled by heavy artillery without warning and a doctor beaten to death in broad daylight in the middle of a research campus.

WTH is happening these days?
