Star News blogger thinks BuzzOut should back off

The thing is that the #BUZZOUT movement is actually supporting the program. Sitting on our butts allowing this thing to happen without any opposition is NOT supporting the program. The writer is clearly stupid.

Compare Friedlander's article on the billboard with this one he wrote about Yow dimissing O'Brien at NC State: http://acc.blogs.starnewsonline.com/33393/philosophical-differences-unfulfilled-expectations-led-to-tobs-dismissal/

All I can figure is Brett thinks fans should just STFU until the AD makes a decision. Then he can Monday-morning-QB explain why it had to be done. So when [Redacted] isn't Wake's coach any more, will his blog on the widely-dispersed Wilmington Star be about how unjust the move was and how [Redacted] "just needed a little more time?"

Of course, this article seems to put Friedlander in a little more perspective than his one yesterday: http://www.gastongazette.com/sports/colleges/top-acc-stories-of-the-year-1.72516

And finally, the growing unrest of Wake fans over coach Jeff [Redacted] and the continued decline of the men’s basketball team.

So our growing unrest goes from "honorable mention" as "ACC Story of the Year" to being "emotional" and "senseless?"

freidlander is a joke, he is a shill for administrations, as big a big school fan as he is I am sure he does want WF to keep bzzzkill

sad death of journalism

must have been a truly slow news day -- wonder how long he's had this article sitting on the side of his desk

So we are "working to ensure (the programs) failue". I can't wait for Bzz to say " we would have lost by only 20 if is wasn't for the billboard". Freeloader also says the we're the "Lunitic Fringe", but goes on to say "The Buzzout crowd has a legitimate reason to be upset and want change". How do writers like this keep their jobs?

Brett,
Thanks for the article defending Coach [Redacted]. We are so proud of what he has accomplished! The children look up to him and know that they too can overcome their own challenges. It’s truly a miracle that Coach [Redacted] can be so successful considering the obstacles in his path.

I couldn't finish the article, but the comments are outstanding.

Could you imagine an uninitiated fan reading those comments? I'd be completely confused.

"In other words, they should stop acting like fanatics and start being the fans they claim they are."

Fans is short for "fanatics" Brett. That's really all I garnered from this article, we've known for a while that he's kind of dense.
