Definitely is. Hotel opens in a few months. Residential about 40% committed

You're too old to live anywhere but downtown/West End in Winston. Get a place near Hanes Park, 5-7 mins to Wake and just down the hill from DT.

Loved my time in the Nissen. $850/month for a single isn't bad.

When were you there? No way it's still $850 for a 1-bed room. Unless OP is willing to do a studio I doubt he gets into the Nissen building for much less than a grand.

I'm going to be a grad student so the cheaper and closer to the university it is, the better.

I wouldn't take The Corners seriously. I swam in the pool there ONCE and got pink eye the next day. It's almost as bad as Sugar Creek.
