Yes, making someone who is likely to lose their primary in their own state in a couple of years the face of your national party is a great idea!

Cool, a Supreme Court decision that loosens gun laws that is split down party lines. We are totally fine as a country, nope, no big issues, nothing needs fixing, here have a pistol.
 
Abortion? States Rights! Gun laws? Federal Supremacy! This originalism and strict interpretation that conservatives talk about is something. It's almost as if originalism is really just using judicial activism to enact your far-right agenda.

Don't forget the complete ignorance to history that does not favor them, i.e. Puritan and Quaker gun control laws or herbal remedies to "clear the menses."

Very very cool that our entire national political framework in 2022 (population 332 million) is limited to a 4500 word document written 250 years ago by 55 slave owners for a nation of 4 million people where only land owning white men could vote.

Los Angeles has roughly the same population as Pre-Revolution America.
