On the email signature topic, there’s def an inverse relationship between email signature length/detail/graphics and job importance.

It’s always the lowliest staffers having like a paragraph length signature that identifies minutia like their office mail code.

Similarly cool it on the zillion credentials after your name, especially the ones that are just pay a fee and get letters that no one recognizes. Also mba does not count.
 
on a similar topic it's fine to have controlled brand guidelines on signatures. just copy and paste this template but there are always people who go rogue with their own fonts, logos, images, etc. I find it tends to be salespeople who do that since they don't like the boring corporate one.
 
You just have to know your audience. Stick to those that are notable in your industry.
