I was actually just thinking about this this week — headlights seems so much brighter now

anyone else notice this?

Yes. In addition to the fact that they’re super bright LEDs (which in general I’m fine with), SUVs and manlet trucks have gotten bigger and higher so they’re shining directly in my eyes in my normal sized car.

new therapist lives in Florida, seems pretty dope

what's embarrassing about it?
infantilization of the populace

the community is a complete bubble, totally separate from the real world, totally flat and zero grit

I can’t imagine a single interesting piece of culture can emerge form a place like that

would you rather live in a Disney community with your family (I don't think they're retirement communities?) or a Margaritaville-themed retirement community?

fiance really going through it with her sister rn tho

that family puts a shit ton of pressure on her to spend time with them, and they're trying to get us to stay up there for like more than a week (christmas through new years) but we are trying to think through other plans and it's just a mess of social pressure and family nonsense

I'm gonna move to the Disney-branded suburb and write poetry there

Time magazine did a good job making someone who is conventionally very attractive look so incredibly un-sexy with their Taylor Swift cover shoot

fun fact: fact magazine > time magazine

To be fair, your last two points wouldn’t necessarily be unique to Disneyhouseland. The first one is bad enough though.

You want to live in a Frozen themed area? Marvel themed area? Or Star Wars themed area? Which house is yours, oh I live in the ice palace facaded place on Baby Yoda street. Grow the fuck up

it's me, the middle schooler who gets on the school bus out front of the official Royal Caribbean Cruise licensed & themed suburb "Coco Park"

come seek a home, at coco park

I live in the real world. It's overrated.
