Since most folks on here are supporting the team, Deac83 feels the need to push his position further towards idiotic. Seriously, Downey isn't a PG? Do you even watch Wake Forest basketball? CMM is playing well this year, but he really has only had one test (which is similar to last year, actually). Madison is playing well, but he would have been the fourth guard on the CP3/Gray/Downey team. Dudes have played seven games, only two of them against even average competition and only one game against a good team. And you're saying that they're unequivocally better than one two year legend and future NBA HOFer, and two very good - amongst the best guards we've had in 20 years - four year starters.

Wellman stuck Bz in a difficult position. Bz IS the anti-Dino so he did not fit the program at all other than Wellman's vision. Wellman made Bz retain Dino's coaches...and recruits..which was a big class too remember? The coaches had to change recruiting targets going forward to fit Bz. Simply put, Wellman created a clusterfuck by believing Dino was THE problem and bringing in the anti-Dino to save the progam. Bad fit with Dino's players/recruits and keeping the coaches is what cratered the program to where it went. Not saying Bz is the answer for Wake, but do you ever take all of that into consideration when forming your opinion of the Bz timeline?

Sounds like some solid coaching from year 1 to 2 of the big class....and again that we've replaced CJ. I expect a couple from that class to transfer.

No it wouldn't be great if in year 3. It might possibly be barely acceptable.

Even if you view everything in the light most favorable to wellman and buzz, and grade each year in a vacuum, the grades for our team over the past 4 years would be F, F, D-, and C (before today's game).

Looking at his time here overall [Redacted] has been an abomination. Anti-Dino or not [Redacted] should be judged against that baseline and I find it unfathomable that Dino would have the program in worse shape than it is right now.

At this point, I think there are only enough attendees to field one table at the Deacon Club events.
