The odds were very good that Miami was going to come back and have a chance to win that game. That's generally what ranked teams do.

Really? So how often is a fair catch fumbled and then recovered by the punting team? Because that's what had to happen for them to have a chance. Our defense was dominant throughout that game. Miami got incredibly lucky.

Shorter FG though. You should make 32 yard FGs most of the time. Man, that game was so much fun. Really the last time I left the stadium feeling great about Wake football. Been almost all downhill from there.

People definitely thought that Cross was going to be the guy after Skinner graduated. That was quite possibly because we had a walk on who was second string to Skinner after Hodges left the team. Either way people didn't think much of Jones or Ted, and so they put all their eggs into Cross' basket. And then we signed price and people began to overhyped him as well.

My guess is that Cameron will be a serviceable or better quarterback next year. The pickings, obviously, are pretty slim after him.
