I don't know how you fix it. You can't look at history - for instance giving Holland credit for their runner up finish last go round - because 4 years is such a long time. And the friendly results any team gets can be skewed simply because you don't control rosters for those friendlies. Great, the Swiss beat Brazil and Germany in friendlies in the last couple of years. Who played?

It is just hard to really handicap things right with so many teams, so many roster movements and so few games.
