College Football - Week 14

Going into today, Auburn was further behind OSU than OSU was behind Bama

2 FSU .970
3 OSU .920
4 Auburn .824
5 Mizzou .808

I don't see them jumping OSU unless OSU loses next week.
 
FSU should move to #1...with only the Dookies standing in their way!
 
Yeah I don't see OSU getting jumped if they win their championship game next week. Has an undefeated BCS team this late in the season ever been jumped by a one loss team?

No kidding.

I don't think OSU is better than Bama (Bama did everything they could to shit the bed today and is still, IMO, the best team), but an undefeated OSU is not going to get skipped over by a 1 loss SEC team, particularly a 1 loss SEC team with a miracle win against a mediocre UGA.

But I am going to look forward to the SEC fans all bitching a moaning when they're left out of the championship game and they're ranting on about how Auburn or Mizzou or SC is actually the best team in the country because they won the mighty SEC.

By beating Bama they do. Exponentially better than any team osu has beaten in the past two years.
 
So I looked up my own question. An undefeated power conference team has never been jumped by a 1 loss team ever in the history of the BCS.

All of you wanting OSU to be left out must not have grown up ACC fans in an SEC city. Your thoughts would be mighty different if you had to deal with those hooligans your whole life. Especially if they were fans of a team who is never in those national title games but still takes the credit by association. Go Tigers. Beat those freaking redneck hooligan Gamecocks that I had to grow up with.

An ol' ball coach use to compare the Big 10 to southern football, i.e. SEC in particular...He would say OSU and Mich match up is like two ol' hogs trying to copulate in the mud and slime...nothing much of substance is there...

I know but I just can't get past the any given Sunday thing. I'd rather they just not have the chance than have them luck their way into a win. I do relish lsu and Florida destroying them though. If only the refs hadn't fucked Miami in that natty.
