Pat Narduzzi

Texas? Florida? UVA? Not sure what's going on with those programs.

Betting $$ is that London gets at least 1 more year here, Muschamp hires an OC and stays at least 1 more year at UF and Brown is gone. I think Tejas might have some $$$$$$$$ to throw at most any coach they want.

Better watch out for that step, it's a DUZZI

Being a stepping stone would be a wonderful thing.

I think that is the realization we need to have regarding football. Being a stepping stone is not a terrible thing. Memphis basketball is a stepping stone job, but they have had some pretty incredible success. Keep bringing up and comers, load the staff up with great young assistants, and create your own Wake Forest pipeline. We will never be a destination job in football...this doesn't mean we can't have a lot of success if we make smart decisions.

Pat NarduzzIN

Pro Narduzzi. Grew up in MI, the guy does more with less than any defensive coach in the country. He battles for recruits with Michigan, O$U and Notre Dame and produces a top 10 defense every season.

dude, i remember the days when you still posted and we thought we'd actually get a good bball coach and we had our boy JTT coming to wake and everything was awesome and happy and fun

BRING NARD DOG HOME

YEP

Pat Narduzzi - Michigan State (DC/AHC) Michigan State has allowed 2.23 yards per carry, which is the lowest number since Texas at 2.21 in 2009. The Spartans held Minnesota to three points on Saturday, forcing three turnovers and allowing three points in three red zone trips by the Gophers. In the regular season, the Spartans held half of their 12 opponents without a touchdown. The Big Ten Championship Game in Indianapolis will be a great showcase against the Ohio State offense.

man... even talking about Pat NARDUZZI makes me feel like its the good ole days when we signed Ty, Woods, and Aminu.

LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

NARD DOG NARD DOG

And how did that work out?

Yeah, I remember when Coach Lobotzke was thought of as a rising starHC prospect as well (although not that high up the list, obviously).

I'm just gun-shy on a defensive guy as a HC. Especially one with no ties to this area. If you are going to win as a private school, you are going to have to do it with offense. I firmly believe that you can't consistently when at a small school without being in the top 40 or so in offense every year.

Maybe this guy gets that and will bring in an OC that can light up the scoreboard, but I would rather have a coach who has done that already.
Before Nard Dog's name emerged I wanted to go offense hire as well. This guy seems good though.
