OUR HEAD COACH DOESN'T MAKE THE SUBSTITUTION DECISIONS.
I saw that post a couple days ago and wondered if true.
Please don't let that be true. Is his only job during games to call timeouts?
UNCG also lost to PRESBYTERIAN by 21 at home.UNCCH was up 30 at the half vs UNCG

we will keep it within 8 against UNC, at the very least.
If you average all four of Sagarin's rating systems, Carolina is ahead of us by 5.2 points on a neutral court.
Sagarin said:In PURE_ELO, only winning and losing matters; the score margin is of no consequence,
which makes it very good at retro-fitting the W-L results. However it is less accurate in its predictions for
upcoming games than is the PURE POINTS, in which the score margin is the only thing that matters.
PURE POINTS is also known as PREDICTOR, BALLANTINE, RHEINGOLD, WHITE OWL and is a very good PREDICTOR
of future games.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
GOLDEN_MEAN also utilizes the actual SCORES of the games in a different way but is also completely SCORE BASED
and thus should be a good match for the PURE POINTS in terms of predictive accuracy for upcoming games.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The overall RATING is a synthesis of the three different methods, with more weight to the two SCORE-BASED methods
and thus should be a good predictor in its own right.
I suspect the line will be around 7 for the Wake-UNC game and I believe that it will be a single digit game.
This doesn't mean we're good or that UNC is bad, this is just what normally happens when two conference teams play each other. We may have all forgotten this since we haven't been a normal team the past three years.
Well, it's a free country, so it's nice to have an opinion on something that you know absolutely nothing about, I suppose.
Tell ya what I'll do, though. That was almost 50 years ago, but if you're ever in the area, we'll go a a gym somewhere and I will shoot 30 free throws...and I'll bet ya that I make at least 20 of them. That's 67% now, almost 50 years later. Wake Forest players on full scholarships made 13 out of 30 yesterday...43%. That's totally inexcusable....and it's totally the players' fault, not the coaches.
As I said, shooting free throws isn't that difficult. You have to concentrate and use sound fundamentals. Eliminate all that extra motion....you can't make them if your arms, head and elbows are moving all around when you shoot....and repeat the same way of shooting them over & over. It's just like making 4-foot putts. Use as little motion as possible and repeat your stroke.
The coach is ultimately responsible for team performance.
I believe the line on the Carolina game could be subject to a great deal of change between now and then.
