Didn't you just call DF07 and ONW moderates? I'd say your perspective is probably as skewed as Wrangor's.
 
i usually get labeled left-center or Libertarian (lolz) by those political compass things. i only post on certain issues here which probably pushes my character further left than i consider myself to be.

love my guns, though!

To get to 80% liberal, there would have to be several posters who are too liberal to be Dems. How many people do you think that covers? Don't think anyone on the board is too conservative for the GOP. I'd guess 50% moderate, 25% liberal, 25% conservative. Dems nationally are equally split between moderates and liberals, GOP is 70% conservative, 30% moderates.

Under W I supported the use of drones. Under Obama, i support the use of drones. You definitely oppose Obama's use of drones but never had the same loud opinion when W was POTUS.

When W was POTUS, I said we needed an advocate for the people versus the NSA in FISA courts. Under Obama I have said the same. You have been outraged about the NSA under Obama but not under W.

Like many on the right (like W, Rogers, Gates and others), I think Snowden is a self-indulgent criminal who has harmed our nation dramatically.

Five years ago you may have been right, but it's lower now. Moderate Republicans are a dying breed. They basically don't exist in the House and are waning in the Senate. This is reflecting the loudest voices in the general public.
 
Im the exact middle of the middle because I think everyone on either side of me are a bunch of mongoloids, so feel free to use me as your navigational beacon. It is a gradient however and the further out from me you get the more mongoloid you become both directions.

What's really weird is how wanting everyone to be able vote easily and safely without anyone trying to suppress your right is now considered to be very liberal.

Can't figure out Santorum's angle. He's got 7 kids and he'll never back off on opposing birth control. He got curb stomped by 18 points in 2006 in his attempt for a third term in PA. If you've served statewide for 12 years you can't claim voters weren't informed on your capabilities and policy positions. Like Bachmann, Santorum may be too crazy for a paying gig on Fox.

I think Santorum is a true believer of the highest order. Didn't his wife have a miscarriage or still born that he says is associated with BC? I think it's completely personal for him.
