[Redacted] tells players he is gone?

[Redacted] resigning prior to the ACC tournament would actually help Wellman out because he could go ahead and deal with the initial press with it now rather than try to squeeze it in during NCAA tournament responsibilities.

Somebody tell Dan there's leftover chicken in the AD's office.. maybe he could provide some coverage on this..

Probably by far the main reason this would happen now

Damn shame his own team will again not have any NCAA tournament responsibilities.

OK, more like Robinson than Sendek, but without the self-imposed restrictions. At least Robinson had the task of cleaning up the program, regardless of on-court success. You guys were in decent shape (I don't believe 80% of what I've heard about Gaudio) and looked to me like Wellman jerked his knee, threw him out, and took three giant steps backward for no apparent reason. The reason I compare Bzz to Sendek is that players never developed, our only good players either transferred or were kicked off the team, terrible game management, and WTF substitution patterns. I used to joke that if Sendek called a TO under a minute left, he would freak out the boys, and usually there would be fail.

That said, Bzz owns us in Winston.

[Redacted] WAS the self imposed restriction.

Goodman is a really sarcastic guy. This doesn't read like a scoop, IMO.

Yeah, seems more like a shot at Wellman than anything else.

He should work on giving Wichita State a garbage seed.

Has that ever happened where a coach just like, didn't go, to the conference tournament game? That would actually be kind of cool if we were the first and maybe we could have a celebrity "guest coach" like Alfonso Soriano or the lead singer of the Arcade Fire or something.

I like this. He has a great name (Win Butler) and the guy is probably 6'5", so hopefully he played a little hoop growing up.

ETA: Wikipedia says he is 6'4" and then there is this: In September 2011, Butler played in a charity basketball tournament in Toronto known as "Rock The Court." Several other celebrities and athletes participated, such as Matt Bonner of the San Antonio Spurs, whom Butler defeated in a 3-point competition.

Screw Scotty McCreery giving the concert at the ACCT on Wednesday. Let Deacon guest coach Win Butler and Arcade Fire give the concert. That would definitely get butts in the seats.

I like to envision that [Redacted] told her players he couldn't come back in his own bizarro "win one for the Gipper" kind of speech.

Adam & Joe just brought up on 99.9 the fan that they think tonight will be bzdeliks last game at home. Also talked about his awful ties. Made my afternoon.

He should work on giving Wichita State a garbage seed.

Then after he does, go on CBS and tell the world that the rest of the committee screwed Wichita State, while he believes they should have been the #1 overall seed and that Gregg Marshall is a wonderful coach, husband, and father.

Whoever did that, fess up and collect your well-deserved pos rep.

There may yet be hope for a revitalization of the Wake hoops program. Bzzzz has done so much harm to the program, he will go down as one of the most incompetent coaches to ever look befuddled on the sidelines.

Buzz's combined conference record at Colorado & Wake: 26-88

FUCKING 62 GAMES BELOW .500!
