Part of me says that Part 3 above crossed the line.

The other part says that if Bz didn't want something like this to happen, he probably should have refrained from cussing at fans and insulting the fan base on his call in shows and in interviews.
 
I'd say most of us have dreamed of getting that moment where we can just lay into Bzz - what a miserable SOB he is. Granted, it's Wellman's fault for offering him the job, but this jackass has done plenty on his own to deserve the ire of our fans. His behavior has lacked what I would classify as WFU culture. He doesn't respect his players or WFU fans and if you want respect, you need to show it first. My guess is maybe even he disrespected his wife by not leaving sooner - putting his ego first. It's a shame she got caught in the cross-fire, but I'm not going to pull this "holier than thou" shit - Bz earned it.

Then there's the idea that, just because Buzz did something stupid and inappropriate, another person doesn't have to respond in a similarly inappropriate manner. Buzz's record speaks (curses) for itself.
 
Who cares that the OP swore at Bzz? I can't believe anyone is even surprised by this. This is the natural evolution of starving the fanbase of honesty and integrity. The whole Fire Bzz campaign is a microcosm of revolution. People are fed up and most of us are still waiting for an explanation. I wouldn't have done it, but it doesn't surprise me in the least. I didn't realize people hated Bzz that much. I know I do, but I thought the OP provided some interesting context. This coupled with fans not wanting Greg Marshall because he spoke unkindly towards our floundering program proves to me that Wake fans remain okay with average as long as we can continue sticking our nose up while comparing ourselves to other schools. I love Wake, but we need to get over this pathetic "it's okay because we do it the right way" bullshit. We do a lot of shit the wrong way just like every other school. Get over it. Carolina is a great school. So is Duke. We all have our problems, but their fans expect success whereas ours are happy enough pretending that our players are better citizens. Sure we're not blatantly cheating like UNC was but we're not rolling out road-scholars either. If Wake stops playing the battered wife maybe then we can hire some people (like Skip) who truly believe Wake can be great. We may never get there, but it was a hell of a lot more fun when our fans had hope.

Good Lord, the man doesn't need to be cussed out. I want him gone as much as the next guy, but cussing the guy in a parking lot is fucking juvenile. It's basketball, no WWIII.

You haven't been paying attention to Buzz's message. He shows us respect by showing no respect. That's what he taught his players and we have certainly seen that he lives it...

2&2 probably supports taking away [Redacted]'s daughter's wake degree as it was partially paid for with ill gotten gain. While he's at it, all clothes the wife and daughter are wearing that have been bought since he took the job should be repossessed. If it means stripping them naked in public, so be it. If they arrested for public lewdness all the better.
