I still see him a lot in his kitchens around here, though. and they are all putting out fantastic food right now.

Watched for the first time last night since Memphis chef Kelly English was on it. Pretty decent show, though 30 minutes is too short.

Yeah he works his ass off in general. Still does a lot of cooking in his restaurants around here. I don't even go to his restaurants that much and have seen him making pizzas at Graffiatos and shockingly making sandwiches at G long after it opened.

Kinda like Nate Anda for Red Apron - been to his new place once for sandwiches and once for dinner (Partisan) and he was there busting it both times.
 
I've stopped watching Top Chef because Padma thinks she can critique food. Anyone that skinny doesn't deserve to judge these guys
 
It is just me, or is it kind of weird that Brooke told everyone she researched Shirley so she could pick something that would be tough for her? What an oddball.
 
Nah. Anyone who is slightly competitive would do the same thing, imo. Plus, the producers had to love the fact that she vocalized it (or they scripted it that way) for additional drama.
 
What is weird is that no one blinked an eye when Wolfgang talked about Gail's breasts

Basically Gail said she had eaten a lot of desserts on the show and Wolfgang said "as you can see, none of them made it past her chest." Although now that I am typing that, maybe he said they didn't pass her test?
 
No it was definitely all went to her chest, and then they cut to his face with a solid look of approval when the girl deep throated the fire.

Wolfgang has been hilarious. He also had that quote when they put the blindfold on in the first ep when he said "Feels like we're in the bedroom."

Soooo Austrian.

Also I had a hard time picking who to root for that last episode. Always liked Shirley but felt like the theme of the ep was geared towards her strengths.
 
Cast has been announced for the Boston season. Looks like I have 2 chefs to root for with the exec chef at Kapnos (a Mike Isabella place) and the chef at a place in Fredericksburg, VA called Foode, which is awesome. I'm pretty sure the latter used to work under Kevin from the Vegas season.
