Game also changed when Chip Vaughn knocked the other Johnson dafuqout. Calvin didn't do much after that.
 
Swanson was on megatron like stink on shit! Man that was an awesome day, would love to experience that again one day.

Meh. It was like they were trying to "impose their will" but with giant receivers rather than a full back. Third down was the worst call. I would have flacked a dive and tried to kick it outside there.

Are you saying you don't think Reggie Ball wasn't the number one reason GT lost that game? They started Taylor Bennett in the Gator Bowl and Megatron lit up WVU. GT easily wins the title game with a competent QB

Our defense was a lot better than WVu's that year. Ball had a bad game, saying we would've easily lost if Tech had played their backup is crazy. We earned that game!

I gotta be honest...I have only watched pieces of the game since actually being there, but just looked it up and the dude was 9-29. 9 for 29! I distinctly remember at least two occasions where Johnson was wide open and Reggie just couldn't get the ball anywhere near him.
 
I'd be willing to listen to arguments claiming Calvin Johnson as the best athlete in the world right now.
 
CALVIN Benjamin would have made that catch.
 
Even when he doesn't make the catch it's amazing
