If you truly believed this then you wouldn't have gone through the trouble deleting all those posts from your past. You would just "live and learn" from them.

My primary point is that most folks (myself included) believe "good posters" are the ones that mirror your own worldview. JHMD is now a "good poster" in your opinion because you agree with him. He was a "bad poster" when you didn't agree with him.

I believe that some of you guys lay awake at night worrying about those deleted posts. It's truly laughable. As I've said many times, do you really think that I am a person who gives a shit what other people think about what I do or say? Really? Do I shy away from saying what I think for fear that it won't be well received by people who do not agree with me? Have I tried to remain anonymous like most posters on the boards? Take you, for example. I assume that you graduated from WF in 2012 from your posts. Other than that, I don't know a damned thing about you. I don't know your age, where you were raised, where you live now, what you do for a living, whether or not you are married or have children, your record of community service. Nothing. If I had my way, every poster would be required to include information like this under his avatar.

That's the problem with anonymous posting boards like this....especially in these divisive times. Anonymous posters can say any shit they wish while hiding in the shadow of anonymity.....and it just keeps getting more & more combative. These boards are a perfect example. I'll say anything I want to say anyway, because I don't give a damn.....but there are many more people who post here that would not do that if everyone was going to know who they were.
 
If jhmd should be banned for anything, it's for being a unc-ch fan.

Weak call out thread District. At least quote what has you so bothered instead of referencing Post #5xx in XXXX thread. 95% of the people reading this thread don't care enough to go find the post(s) you are talking about.

How else do you explain the fact that you completely changed your worldview based on posts that you read on this message board (you know, the one that you don't care about at all, but everybody else is obsessed with)?

Why else would you delete all of your old posts?

I have no problem with people knowing who I am, and I think based on my Blogger So Dear ties (where my name is listed on every single article I have posted over there), it's pretty clear who I am.
What's the other explanation?
 
As a point of perspective, bkf praises jh and thinks the white supremacists in Charlottesville are better than black folks because the white supremacists didn't loot any stores.

My guess is jh would like an endorsement from RJ over an endorsement from BKF.

I still don't know anything about you. If you have no problem with it, PM me the answers to all the questions I asked and we can go from there. If we live somewhere in the same vicinity, maybe we could get together for a beer...or coffee or whatever....sometime. I think that sitting down together face to face in a civil manner would go a long way toward giving both of us a better perspective of each other. As a matter of fact, I think it would do a world of good for all posters if they could do that. Anonymous posting boards are really conducive to the kind of animosity we see all the time here in the world we live in today.

I haven't been following this too closely. Two questions:

1) Is only one side allowed to protest things that are happening in the country which they don't like?

2) How many businesses have the white protestors burned or looted so far?

My sincere thanks for your PM. You answered every question and I will, of course, keep your PM in strict confidence......as all PM's should always be held.

As I said, if you are ever in the area where I live....which would include the entire piedmont triad....I would sincerely love to get together for a beer or coffee, etc. My guess is that, despite these boards, we would both discover that the other person has no horns. (I am very easy to contact or to find.)

That would be an easy determination to make for anyone who simply read what I said and was not predisposed to assign meaning to words based upon his own prejudices.

And you did not even address the first of my two questions.

There is no obligation on the part of anyone on this board to answer stupid, self-serving, questions.

You were trying to be cute. You didn't know that shortly thereafter, a white supremacist (who you were so proud of for not looting any stores) would kill somebody. You could have then come back and posted that your original post was in bad taste given what happened. But admitting when you act like an asshole has never been your style.

Of course, at the time you made the post, white supremacists had already beaten and injured people in Charlottesville. So you were an asshole even without the knowledge of what was to come.


ETA- to be clear, you were taking up for folks carrying around NAZI FLAGS. Hope you are proud of yourself. At least they aren't part of BLM, right?

You can rationalize it any way you like, but the fact that you completely changed your worldview and now claim that a poster who you used to think was an idiot is now some sort of genius because you now agree with him is part and parcel of the emotional immaturity you have shown on this board for years.

It really manifested itself in your continued hero worship. You are a retired man, not a little boy (at least physically).

More lies. You guys never stop. You just say anything that you feel like saying with no concern whatsoever that it is true or not. I never said that JHMD was an idiot. You just pulled that comment out of your ass. I'm sure that I disagreed with him on some issues in the past....but disagreeing with someone and thinking that they are idiot are two completely different things....and calling them an idiot on the boards so that someone like you could legitimately make such a claim is even yet another thing. So why do you and others continue to lie like this?
