There is not “no way” Manning gets canned after next season. Another season like this this one and it’s far more likely that’s he’s gone than he stays. So far it is just as likely that the exceptional talent of JC carried us to the First Four, as it is that Manning is a good coach.

How did JC go from where he was when he arrived to where he was when left? How come Manning is considered by any expert you talk to to be one of, if not the best big man's coach in the country and has been for years?

Barring an NCAA scandal, Danny isn't getting fired after next year.

Here's something to think about. When was the last time Wake paid a fired coach about $20M not to coach?

That's the ballpark we'd owe Danny if he was fired after next year.

I believe Manning will be at Wake for years to come, but it’s laughable to think it would cost $20 million if they wanted him gone.

False on both counts. What I said with the prior coach was that there was no way he was going to be fired before the end of his third year and gave the reasons.

I have made many comments questioning Danny's coaching.

What 06 is doing is what he always RJ verb something bad...then pat yourself on the back...

Year 1, I set criteria for him keeping his job. When he didn't meet it, I posted he should be immediately fired. My criteria also included firing Wellman for not firing BZZZZZZZZZZZ and I kept my word on that.

Because I understand that few schools will ever fire two coaches in consecutive seasons or even two in three years and the knee jerk, childish posters here don't. It isn't about me. It's about you and the rest of them.

Wake is 0-2 in the ACC quarters since ‘07. (9 no appearances). We are 5-58 ACC road this decade.

The fact that we can’t all agree that from a hoops perspective the whole athletic department should be torched is our own fault. The rest is Wellmans.

If everyone gets on board that this is a 2 decade dumpster fire, than we can begin real change. Otherwise, 3 decades will be here shortly.
