Clawson seemed to say he was staying in the slot and Hensley and Banks would probably be 3 and 4

And how well those guys step up will determine how much if any time TM spends out wide. Unless Cam’s double slot appears!
Remember he also will be returning punts and we all hope there are more of those this year.
 
Clawson summed it up perfectly. It will come down to the defense being respectable and the offense maintaining. Pretty simple and he's correct.

And I loved his one dig about media projections.... "...maybe after we win the next 10 years they'll pick us for 2nd."

He's the original pusher of it back a few years ago

I just simply thought they wouldn't trust more than 3 WRs on the outside this year given *gestures at history*
 
TBF, when our football staff & marketing team were willing to put forth a campaign essentially calling themselves out and giving themselves no excuse, they backed it up.

Somewhere deep in Warren's archives are sets with Greg Dortch and Tabari Hines on the field together ... I'm not saying my life's goal is to find those but I'd pay a pretty penny to get a glimpse of them.

I'd like the new guys at Clemson to prepare for that.

Maybe I-formation, fake it to the back, and hit wide open Gronk in the end zone for TD.

Just a thought.

We’re gonna have to have the full bag of tricks vs. Clemson - let’s hope we can win the first 3 games easily with minimal RPO, etc.

Minimal RPO? I doubt we run an entirely different offense the first three games just to throw Clemson off.

I’m not saying we change the offense- let’s just not show the full bag of tricks to save some stuff for Clemson. If we can’t beat VMI, Vandy, and Liberty with a vanilla playbook- we have bigger problems.

Yeah this is good stuff.

So the question is does Clawson wear 2 watches for style, sentimentality or to show power like a dictator or boss?

I am going with option 3.

Maybe the second watch is on military time, nautical time, a fit bit, a gizmo to talk to his kids, or he is a professional diver sort of badass.

It's intriguing.

I understand. It’s just that the RPO is the base offense.
