CT 757: does anyone know a paralegal who enjoys insensitive jokes

I haven’t been to get a wellness check in probably 5 years but just scheduled one. The earliest appointment was a Saturday in October. Oof.

I did also schedule an eye exam (next week) & dentist appointment (Friday). Apparently every dentist out here doesn’t work Fridays.
 
Fairly sure everyone's working remotely on fridays now anyways, and ours is a half day remote friday. It's just basically an assumed 3 day weekend every weekend at this point.

Friday is one of my favorite days at the office because nobody is there and it’s jeans day. I’ll save my work from home days when I’m expected to be in a suit and everybody is in the office.

Our group has 3 assistants and 2 paralegals for 4.5 attorneys.

Admittedly my assistant doesn’t do much for me other than process reimbursements and send out correspondence. The other attorneys take up most of the oxygen.

(Note: I have every other Friday off) (second note: the fridays I do work are one of my in office days sadly)

I mean I have people who work for me at work, but like if you have to arrange a mother's day gift can you go to your assistant to get that done?

Pickleball is taking the world by storm. Its all my neighbors can talk about, all my mom and her friends talk about it. I understand its more accessible than tennis because its less running involved, but man I haven't seen a sport take off like this since hackysack.

which is funny because we used to play in PE in elementary school and I literally hadn't heard of it again since like a year or 2 ago, but yeah, it's crazy popular

Oof is right. I called a new provider for an appointment and was told they aren't taking new patients until September, so I asked to book an appointment in September and was told to call back on 9/1. Fucking ridiculous.
