Since I'm in a bad mood, might as well spout out a pet peeve. Why the heck do so many of our fans bring UNC and State fans with them when we play those schools? Heck, I think half of the UNC fans on the home side you could tell were with Wake fans. One of my favorite golf buddies is a UNC grad and fan. Great guy, there isn't much I wouldn't do for him if he asked, but I would not bring him with me to a Wake-UNC game. He'd act fine, no problem there, its just principle of the thing. You think a Bama fan would take a friend who's an Auburn fan to the Iron Bowl in.Tuscaloosa? I doubt it.

Because she’s my wife and comes to every Wake game with me and cheers for Wake. She can wear her UNC hat when we play them at home even though she was still high-fiving me and cheering for Wake.

I have tickets in both the Touchdown Club and Tower (long story). Anyhow, that REALLY pissed me off last night. I was with my son and his wife in the TD club for a while and there were multiple WalMart Hole fans. One guy was so damn drunk he about started a fight with some man who looked about 65+. Several Wake fans stepped in to help and told the dumbass to just keep on moving. He kept walking around, drunker than a skunk, staring at Wake fans and wanting to start something. Just total trash.

My only guess is either 1) Company-owned seats or 2) some jackass put his seats on StubHub without being more careful.

Clawson is 14-9 when WF is ranked…2-5 against other ranked teams when we are ranked…We haven't sealed the deal against good opponents when we are good.

It’s a small sample size, but nearly all of our evidence of being “good” comes from us beating up on bad teams early in the season, and our results as a ranked team playing against conference opponents usually proves us to be merely decent.

I continue to believe that Clawson has designed this Wake program to reach bowl eligibility every season, but not much beyond that. This talent and depth level makes for great Septembers but awful Novembers.

All the blown calls in the first half matter, bullshit targeting matters, invisible holding on an amazing pass play (with no call PI) to get us into the red zone fucking matters.

Its LOWF to think this is our fault because claws played aggressive for the win. Refs absolutely fucked us over tonight.

Chuckle… don’t play sports if you don’t realize every game you have to beat both the other team and ref errors

Sam is so not clutch. Glad he got the Pack W and accc game, but he just doesn’t do well under pressure and not great decision maker as regularly holds ball too late and misses easy outlet passes including earlier 4th down. Hes a great college qb who put up great stats and more importantly a great character guy and leader, but time for a new chapter. Hopefully mitch has learned and can take the next step and his mobility will allow for him to be as successful if not more so than Sam. I liked what we saw with the few glimpses we saw of Mitch.

The defense played pretty darn good considering how short handed we were in the secondary and Bothroyd being out. UNC had 14 points on the board halfway through the first quarter, so our defense held them to 22 points for the last 3 1\2 quarters, 9 points in the 2nd half. I got no issues with the defense last night, about as good as we could've hoped for I think.

Except they haven’t forced a turnover in a month. That’s the one gripe.

Very true. I tend to think teams probably focus on not turning it over against us since that's part of our "recipe" for success. I know that's true for all teams every week, but maybe even more so against us?

I brought my little brother who is a unc grad. Yeah, I'd like to kick their butts every year. But. We had a great time tailgating and watching the game. I hated losing. But the day was a success none the less.
