Biden

Don’t know why Biden isn’t as Presidential as Reagan!

Despite supporting PATCO's effort in his 1980 campaign, Ronald Reagan declared the PATCO strike a "peril to national safety" and ordered them back to work under the terms of the Taft–Hartley Act. Only 1,300 (10%) of the nearly 13,000 controllers returned to work. At 10:55 a.m., Reagan included the following in a statement: "Let me read the solemn oath taken by each of these employees, a sworn affidavit, when they accepted their jobs: 'I am not participating in any strike against the Government of the United States or any agency thereof, and I will not so participate while an employee of the Government of the United States or any agency thereof.'"He then demanded those remaining on strike return to work within 48 hours or officially forfeit their positions.

After PATCO disobeyed a federal court injunction ordering an end to the strike and return to work, a federal judge found union leaders including PATCO President Robert Poli to be in contempt of court, and the union was ordered to pay a $100,000 fine, and certain named members were ordered to pay a $1,000 fine for each day its members were on strike. At the same time, Transportation Secretary Drew Lewis organized for replacements and started contingency plans. By prioritizing and cutting flights severely (about 7,000), and even adopting methods of air traffic management that PATCO had previously lobbied for, the government was initially able to have 50% of flights available.

On August 5, following the PATCO workers' refusal to return to work, the Reagan administration fired the 11,345 striking air traffic controllers who had ignored the order, and banned them from federal service for life.

Did you hear that Biden is sleeping with a member of the teachers Union.

What is it that Republicans have against wives working?

Trump wasn’t even speaking to a group of auto worker union members. It was just MAGA rally idiots and some were given union signs to hold up. It was fake like some dictator crap
Finest kind of fake news. Staged theater.

I’m quite sure a wall is not going to end the crisis we have on our southern border.
But props to Biden for recognizing that the materials are there and it can only help, More needs to be done, no doubt. But I am impressed with his move while not play politics with an issue few seem willing to deal with.

So you believe that this is all manufactured? That thousands of immigrants being thrown, without resources and support into Cities all over the Country, taxing resources of neighborhoods, citizens and law enforcement is not a major problem? You must be joking.

it comes around like clockwork

But that's an anti-immigrant argument. Immigrants are only perceived as a burden because we don't want them here. We know that because that logic is only applied to immigrants from the southern border not all the other immigrants who come from the rest of the world.

Bullshit, not an anti immigrant argument at all. If suddenly 250,000 Poles flooded into the US with no documentation, no means of support and a government not willing to support them, I would feel the same way. I am a Grandson of immigrants and thankful they were admitted to this Country. I also believe that we need a policy to support a yearly number of immigrants. But opening the borders with no plan to support them is criminal in itself.

How do you post this stuff so confidently despite there being entire libraries of books that you could read that would contradict your post?

The fact that it is suddenly a crisis is manufactured. It's like a few years ago when the media was all in a panic about shark's attacking people, yet the reality was that there wasn't a significantly greater number of attacks that year than any other year.

Shark CARAVANS are leaving tropics and heading to our shores by the thousands!
